Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

The hot tubs and swim spas we sell are covered by the written warranty provided by the manufacturer. Warranty coverage varies by brand, model, component, and purchase date.

The manufacturer’s written warranty is the official warranty document and controls what is and is not covered. Country Luxx Spas does not replace, expand, or modify the manufacturer warranty unless specifically stated in writing.

Country Luxx Local Warranty Service Policy

Country Luxx Spas helps coordinate and perform approved warranty service for spas purchased directly from Country Luxx Spas.

For approved warranty service visits within the first 6 months after delivery, there is no local trip charge.

After the first 6 months, a $175 local trip charge applies to warranty service visits. This trip charge helps cover technician travel time, fuel, scheduling, and local service costs. It is separate from approved warranty parts and Country Luxx’s local warranty labor support.

When a warranty claim is approved by the manufacturer, eligible replacement parts are handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty. Country Luxx Spas currently provides local warranty labor support for approved claims on spas purchased from Country Luxx Spas, subject to service area, access requirements, manufacturer approval, and the policies listed on this page.

If a service visit is requested for an issue that is not covered under warranty, including water care issues, electrical problems, dirty filters, low water level, improper setup, customer-caused damage, or lack of maintenance, the visit may be billed as a standard service call.

What Warranty Typically Covers

Warranty coverage depends on the manufacturer, model, and the cause of the issue. In general, manufacturer warranties may cover defects in materials or workmanship related to items such as:

  • Spa shell structure
  • Acrylic shell surface
  • Plumbing leaks from covered fittings or internal plumbing
  • Pumps
  • Control systems
  • Display modules
  • Heaters, when included in the applicable manufacturer warranty
  • Ozone systems
  • Factory-installed lighting
  • Factory-installed audio components
  • Thermo covers
  • Certain jets and plastic components
  •

The manufacturer determines whether a repair, replacement part, or claim is covered under warranty.

What Warranty Typically Does Not Cover

Most warranty exclusions relate to damage caused by improper use, poor maintenance, site conditions, unauthorized modifications, or issues outside the spa itself.

Warranty may not cover issues caused by:

  • Poor water chemistry
  • Chemical abuse
  • Scale, lime, corrosion, or calcium buildup
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Dirty, clogged, or neglected filters
  • Operation with low water level
  • Operation outside recommended temperature or water levels
  • Freeze damage
  • Improper electrical wiring
  • Improper voltage supply
  • Electrical surges or site-related electrical issues
  • Improper installation or site preparation
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidental damage
  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications
  • Damage caused by pets, rodents, pests, weather, flooding, lightning, or acts of nature
  • Damage caused during moving, relocation, or improper handling
  • Commercial, rental, or industrial use unless specifically approved in writing
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic fading, weathering, or surface wear that naturally occurs over time
  • Damage to covers, panels, pillows, jets, or plastic components caused by misuse or poor water chemistry
  •

Warranty also typically does not include crane costs, special equipment, transportation, removal, reinstallation, deck removal, access costs, landscaping removal, loss of use, loss of business, or other incidental or consequential damages.

Water Care Requirement

Proper water care is required to keep your spa operating correctly and to preserve warranty coverage.

Customers are responsible for maintaining proper sanitizer levels, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, filter cleanliness, and overall water balance. Poor water chemistry can damage jets, pumps, heaters, pillows, covers, acrylic surfaces, plastic components, plumbing, and other spa components.

Damage caused by poor water chemistry, chemical abuse, scale buildup, corrosion, neglected filters, or lack of maintenance may not be covered under warranty.

Platinum Spas specifically states that hydrogen peroxide-based systems should not be used, and that using those systems can void warranty coverage. If you are unsure which chemicals or water care system to use, please contact Country Luxx Spas before

Service Access Requirements

To complete service, the spa must be reasonably accessible.

Customers are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access to equipment panels, pumps, control systems, plumbing areas, and any side of the spa that may need service.

If the spa is recessed, built into a deck, enclosed, blocked by landscaping, placed against a wall, or otherwise difficult to access, the customer may be responsible for the cost of creating access before service can be completed.

Country Luxx Spas is not responsible for removing or replacing decking, pavers, fencing, landscaping, structures, walls, enclosures, or other obstructions unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Electrical & Site-Related Issues

The customer is responsible for proper electrical installation, site preparation, drainage, foundation, and code compliance.

Electrical work should be completed by a qualified electrician and must meet the requirements of the spa, the manufacturer, and local code.

Warranty does not cover issues caused by improper wiring, incorrect breaker installation, insufficient power supply, faulty GFCI protection, improper voltage, electrical surges, site conditions, or other electrical problems outside the spa.

Crane, Moving & Special Equipment

Some hot tubs and swim spas require special equipment such as a crane, forklift, telehandler, or additional delivery labor.

Unless specifically included in writing, crane services, special equipment, moving costs, removal, reinstallation, and access-related costs are the customer’s responsibility. Country Luxx Spas may help coordinate third-party services when available, but third-party providers are separate companies and are not controlled by Country Luxx Spas.

How to Start a Warranty Claim

If you believe your spa has a warranty issue, please contact Country Luxx Spas with as much information as possible.

Helpful information includes:

  • Your name
  • Spa brand and model
  • Date of purchase or delivery
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos of the issue
  • Any error codes shown on the topside control panel
  • Recent water care history, if the issue may be water-related
  • Photos of the equipment area, if applicable
  •

Some issues can be resolved by phone, text, email, or video. Other issues may require an in-person service visit.

Country Luxx Spas may need to inspect the spa, gather photos, document the issue, and submit information to the manufacturer before a warranty claim can be approved

Important Warranty Notes

Warranty coverage applies only as stated in the manufacturer’s written warranty.

Warranty coverage may be limited to the original purchaser and may not transfer if the spa is sold, gifted, transferred, or relocated.

Any unauthorized modification, repair, alteration, or use of non-approved accessories may void warranty coverage.

Replacement parts may be new, factory replacement, or re-manufactured parts depending on manufacturer policy.

Large replacement items such as side panels and covers may be subject to shipping timing, freight availability, or manufacturer shipping policies.

Country Luxx Spas cannot guarantee manufacturer approval, parts availability, shipping timelines, or claim processing times.
